Cerro Castillo National Park offers some of the most spectacular trekking routes in Chile. From day hikes to multi-day treks, each trail reveals glaciers, turquoise lagoons, ancient forests, and unique biodiversity.

Laguna Viewpoint Trail – 13 km

A full-day challenge with 1,122 m of elevation gain. From the entrance 4 km from Villa Cerro Castillo, it ascends to the viewpoint below the imposing south face of the mountain, offering panoramic views of the Ibáñez River Valley.

Estero Parada Trail – 22 km

A more accessible trail, ideal for one or two days. This trail offers unique views of Cerro Palo, passing through lenga and ñire forests, and ending at Laguna Duff. It features two official campsites (Porteadores and Neozelandés) and unforgettable viewpoints.

Las Horquetas Crossing – 53.5 km

The most complete park experience: a 4 to 5-day trek crossing 53.5 km of unique landscapes, with five camping areas and views of glaciers, lagoons, and valleys. The trails are marked and offer direct contact with native wildlife, such as condors and huemuls.
